Big Switch Projects will work with your design team to create a sophisticated office energy model giving everyone guidance on how to achieve a highly energy-efficient outcome. Our analyst works alongside your project manager, who may be the architect. We’ll analyse the existing base-building lighting design and proposed controls - without good lighting and controls, a lowcarbon office cannot be delivered. That done, we’ll then apply our experience in office energy reviews to produce a unique energy model that gives the architect and engineers an energy budget for all the key energy-consuming elements. The design team will then work to these energy budgets, and we’ll give them guidance on how to achieve an energy-efficient, low-carbon office. Our aim will be either 4.5 or 5 stars on the NABERS rating scheme, the best you can get. eeco2 is designed to help those organisations aiming for innovative, energy-efficient offices.
