Energy efficiency review

The aim of an energy efficiency review (sometimes called an energy audit) is to understand your business’ existing energy consumption and identify the most cost-effective opportunities to save energy and reduce your carbon emissions. Saving energy will have a direct impact on your operational costs.

We will work with you to make sure we understand your operations and your needs. To conduct an energy efficiency review we will review your historical energy consumption for any trends, we will conduct a site inspection, quantify your energy consumption and costs, identify opportunities for energy and carbon savings, and undertake analysis in order to present business cases for the most financially viable initiatives. We’ll give you an action plan for delivering the projects. This will be done in accordance with the Australian standard for energy audits, AS 3598.

Our team has reviewed a range of facilities including commercial office buildings and tenancies, heritage buildings, aged care facilities, hotels, clubs, courthouses, council facilities and operations depots.

If you’re in a commercial building, we can also combine an energy efficiency review with a NABERS rating. A NABERS rating will give you a good indication of how your building or tenancy currently compares against best practice, and can be used as a baseline to measure future improvements in energy management (i.e. after you have implemented the energy efficiency projects) and, in NSW, it’s the baseline for creating Energy Savings Scheme credits.
