NABERS ratings

Big Switch Projects delivers energy efficiency reviews and NABERS ratings to the commercial property, retail and hotel sectors.  Our aim is to make the process easy for our clients, ensuring accurate, cost effective, timely ratings.

We offer a comprehensive understanding of the NABERS scheme, a unique NABERS quality management process, competitive pricing, and a thorough understanding of the Building Energy Efficiency Disclosure Act (2010), including the need for long-term data archiving.

We have NABERS Accredited Assessors on staff, all of who are also accredited CBD Assessors.

Our Managing Director Gavin Gilchrist is the Energy Efficiency Council representative on the Department of Climate Change and Energy Efficiency’s NABERS Industry Advisory Committee. Gavin was the NSW Government official who, in the late 1990s, ran the design and launch of the Australian Building Greenhouse Rating Scheme, NABERS’ predecessor.

We also offer our clients a NABERS Performance Management service. In this option, we provide web-based tracking of the ratings delivery process through our purpose-built My Building Performance™ web site, dashboard reporting on NABERS Energy trends for each building, project review meetings, and consulting advice on energy efficiency, NABERS, carbon and CBD scheme developments.
